Overview

This mixed on/off road route follows General Wade’s Military Road across unfrequented parts of the Phoines and Ralia Estates on the outward leg before the return leg which follows quiet roads and National Cycle Network route 7 along the River Truim.  The section through the woodland beyond Phoines Lodge is rough and wet in places, but the difficult sections are short.
