The spring water is treated on site and is tested regularly by Scottish Water on behalf of Highland Council to ensure that it complies with drinking water standards.
"Five Star Cottage. We had a recent New Year break with our dog Sam. We were met with so many new comfortable additions, fresh flowers, wine and treats for our dog. Ash cottage has had a full makeover since our visit last year, giving it in our opinion a five star feel but keeping the country cottage feel. You really don't need to bring anything, good quality toiletries including shampoo, conditioner etc with the thickest towels in the bathroom. Everything in the kitchen if you want to make a meal. There's also the wood burning fire and also a fab new heating system and a very comfy bed. We spent most of our three days in the cottage with a couple of walks and trips to the Glen Hotel in Newtonmore for lunch, great food. Our family were in the area and popped in for an hour, Emma loved the playhouse so we hope to book the three bed cottage again soon."
