Like many properties in the Highlands, our water comes from a private supply. In our case this a natural spring high on Cruban Beag mountain. The spring water is treated on site and is tested regularly by Scottish Water on behalf of Highland Council to ensure that it complies with drinking water standards.
"Five star break from start to finish! We had stayed before at Crubenbeg holiday cottages, roughly 2 years ago and was impressed with the cottages so decided to book again... I was e-mailed to say the cottages have new owners which I didn't think much about as my booking was still the same... but when I arrived to a fresh bunch of flowers, milk in the fridge and a whole new modern decor I was very impressed. All the cottages have been refurbished to a very high standard and it really is the small things which has taken these cottages to another star in my opinion. The luxury towels, hand wash, shampoo/ condition... the new beds and mattress in every bedroom, the kitchen has everything you need - tin foil, sugar, tea bags and you have everything you need to start the roaring fire when you arrive... It really has improved so much and the new owners are so warm and friendly I know it will be a great success for them! Thanks for having us and we will all be back again soon."
